We kept walking through the sand, it stretched out for miles and didn't seem like it ended. Juke dramaticaly ran and fell onto the ground and kissed it once we got out of the desert. We looked out to the large plains that covered the last strip of ground to Sintickis, while Juke wiped his mouth out spitting out whatever remained in his mouth. It was an easy hour jog to Sintickis, no problem. Then the earth began to shake. We instinctivly fell to the ground, waiting for whatever happened. I thought it was the end of the world until it stopped. We got back up, a little shakened and looked at the plains once more. Before us, was a huge fizzure, or more like a canyon because we could see the bottom. It stretched out for as far as we could see.
"Well," Lily said. "Seems like we will have to go through it!" She walked towards the canyon head held high.
"Wow! She's great!" Juke commented.
"Just keep your eyes in your head and focus on our mission." I replied.
"Hey!" Was the angry response.
We finaly reached the tip of the canyon. Lily looked around to find a path for us to cross and in just seconds charged through, what looked like a good trail. Juke and I fearlessly (Well at least I was fearless) plunged in after her. Of course this would slow us down a bit but we had to do everything possible. This was for Arectonite and it's people. We slowly progressed through the rocky canyon hoping that the sun wouldn't abaondoned us while we were crossing. An familiar sound came ringing into my ear. It kind of sounded like a waterfall... only there wasn't a waterfall in sight. We were more than halfway done when it came again only even louder.
"RUN!" Lily screamed.

Dado part 3
"Ah... ugh... ah! YEAH! AHHHH CHOOO!!!" Juke wheezed.
"Ark..." I replied, which was bless you.
We were getting close to the Sand Village. The ground was beginning to get covered with more and more sand as we proceeded. We finaly reached a small village full of huts, made out of garng skin. Garngs usualy live in dry areas. Some say they were a cross bread of camels and dragons, minus the wings. They were very large, maybe about the size of full grown man.
"Now what..." Juke asked.
"I don't know! Just keep your mouth shut and lets go."
I looked around looking for any sign of life. Both Juke and I looked into the huts, but no one was to be found. That's when we were worried.
"What are you doing here?!" A voice yelled.
We spun around to see who was talking to us. A tall lean girl, around the age of 14 or 15, almost taller than me, was pointing a fingure at us angrily.
"We just came here for supplies..." I replied.
"Its very dangerous at a time like this. You shouldn't be wandering!" She replied.
"And why is it dangerous?"
"Just a few days ago a dragon came in and terorized the village, taking everyone in its path, kidnapping them for their young. This hasn't happened since who knows when. I, along with some others, escaped and hid in a safe haven. I have come back to find any survivors."
"Ok... can you just tell me where we can stock up on supplies and we will be off..."
"Where do you come from?"
"We come from Arectonite." Juke replied.
"Oh really... you don't look like your from Arectonite... how am I suppose to know if you weren't spies from Gollem? And an even better question, why would a couple of Arectonite kids be going about around here?"
"Well if you must know.... We were sent with a message for Sintickis, a plea for help from our enemys. We decided to come here to stock up on supplies for the rest of the journey." I said handing the message to her.
"Dado!" Juke yelled.
"Don't worry Juke! I think we can trust her." I retorted.
The girl took the message and examined it without looking inside. On it, which probably saved our skins, was a seal that only the Arectonite elder would use.
"Fine..." The girl said, "I believe you... Follow me, but be quick and don't fall behind."
She led us deeper into the desert. We trudged around in the sand for about five minutes when we reached a weird looking cacti. She pulled on one of the handles and a small door lifted off of the ground. She led us inside keeping a watchful eye on us. We looked around and a whole bunch of people were crowding around a small table.
"The foods over there." She said pointing to a stach of meat and bread.
We took some food, gave her some of our money, and took off.
"Wait!" She shouted for us. "You will probably need this." She handed me a sword, and Juke a bow and arrow.
"Oh we couldn't take these!" I replied to the generous offer.
"Oh don't worry, the only cost is that I come with you!" She said with a smile. "I'm Lily"
"I'm Dado, and this is-" Juke shoved me backwards.
"And I'm Juke!" He said with a big smile.
"But Lily, I dont even know how to use a sword!" I complained.
"Oh don't worry, I'll teach you!" Lily replied.
With a mumble me and Juke started walking through the sand to our next destination. Sintickis here we come!

Princesses Cynthia part 2

I packed my close into a leather bag, getting ready to run away. I just couldn't think about getting married... It was pretty early in the morning. It was still dark but there were hints that the sun was rising. I ran down to the food storage, packed biscuits, honey, cheese, and other food that would last on a long trip. Saphire wasn't even awake. I couldn't take her... it would put her in too much danger, and she would slow me down. I threw the sack over my shoulders and ran down the long spiraling stairs. I kept going until I reached the huge front doors. I unlatched the metal rod that held it closed, and started running. Away... Away from it all... I had planned everything. I would go to the river and camp out there. Then I would go to Arectonite... where no one would guess I was there... I slowed down with a thought in my head.
"Am I letting my people down?"
That question dug down deep. Could I really run away from everyone else and let them down just for my own selfish desire? But then the thought of marriage popped into my head... I kept walking speeding up my step. Soon i was out of the Sintickis town, getting away...

Gollem Knight part 2

Clop! Clop! Clop! The hooves of Chip thundered. I could faintly see the Sintickis castle ahead. To my right, I could barely see a snow flake like thing floating in the sky. I knew what it was. A dragon, but that didn't mean much to me at the time. There was a small forest coming up. A perfect place to rest for the night. And luckily it wasnt the Forbidden Forest. That place wasnt for the faint of heart. I directed chip in that direction and prepared my next move. The Knights of Gollem were trained to always think ahead in any situation. I tied Chip to a near by tree and laid down a mat on the ground.
"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS CLUNK!"
I spun around. An arrow had just missed my head and hit a nearby tree.
"DANG! How could I have missed!" A female voice said angrily.
I grabbed my sword and faced my opponent. "I am Sersin! Knight of the Gollem King! State your name!"
"I am Gale, follower of no one. I am enemies with only the ones I see fit to be." She raised her bow and launched another arrow. I quickly blocked it with one swipe of my sword.
"Well Gale! I think we might have something in common."
The girl so named, Gale, lowered her bow and arrows and listened with curiosity. I dropped my sword to the ground, something no Gollem Knight would dare do in the presence of an enemy. Just as I predicted Gale dropped her quiver and bows.
"I have lived in Gollem for my whole life, and all that time I felt lost, and empty. I have come out here to find something new."
"And i'm suppose to believe you?" She replied angrily.
She was right... What was I suppose to do?
"Then at least leave me in peace so I can live another day and rest." I replied.
"Very well" She said retreating back into the trees.

Dado part 2

I started packing food, water, clothing, everything you could think of.
"Hey Dado?' Juke asked. "What do you think that note says?"
"No Juke! We aren't gonna see what it says!" I scolded.
I had finaly packed everything that would be fit for an adventure.
"Of!" The old man said walking into my hut. "Imf glaf fat fu haffefn feft fet."
"What did he say?" Juke whispered.
"I'm glad that you haven't left yet.." I replied.
"Fu mife feed a fide fo fur funfy. Herf if af farftfy i haf founfeth." He waved his hand in a small circle and a small purple fairy flew in threw the window.
"Oh!" I exclaimed. "That's the fairy I found stuck in the bushes!"
The fairy flew right above my head and plopped down and made a bed in my hair.
"Oh joy..." I murmered.
"Haha!" Juke laughed. "I guess you really can make a nest out of your hair!"
THWACK! The elder hit Juke upside the head.
"YEEEEEEEEOW! Whatchya do that for?!"
"Fo fefin a fufence!" The elder said.
"Huh?" he nudged me.
"For being a nuisance..." I replied with a chuckle.
"Oh whatever! Your the one who knows..." He stopped with a grin. "OLD ENGLISH!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OUCH!!!!" I slapped the back of his head. "Ok ok... bad joke..." We started walking out of the village. "So where are we off to first?"
"Well... there is a small town in the Desert Outlands... We will be able to make it in two days if we walk the rest of the day and make a camp halfway." I said with pride.
The journey was sooo annoying. The purple fairy kept flying around in my face while Juke kept humming non stop. After about an hour we sat down for a rest and started eating some bread. I gave a little crumb to the fairy, and she gobbled it down happily.
"Sooo... we might be able to reach Sintickis in about five days right Dado?" Juke asked while looking at the map.
"I guess. But you better watch your back," I said teasingly "Because there are rumors that a dragon lives in a cave up ahead!"
"Du-du-du-DADO!? You know I HATE dragons!"
"Hmhmhmhm..." I snickered. "Anyway, we've made it pretty far. The suns going down so we might as well set up camp right now."
"BUT DADO!?" Juke yelled, then lowered his voice into a whisper. "What about the dragon?"
"Don't worry. We've got protection. Just make your bed and go to sleep. Dragons aren't usualy hungry this time of day." I laughed. I grabbed two rocks and put the sticks I gathered into a pile. I then started smacking the rocks together until I got a good spark to get the fire going. I laid down on the mat and dozed off.
"Hey Dado?" Juke asked.
"What Juke?" I replied impatiently.
"Dragons are afraid of smoke right?"
"GO TO SLEEP JUKE!!!"

Princesses part 1 (Cynthia)

I looked out my window watching the lights shimmer in the dark blue sky. The stars were like lanturns flickering, never going out.
"You know, Saphire? Wouldn't it be greaat just to get out of here? Go do something fun..." I asked my younger sister.
"Um... sure?" She replied.
"There has to be someway..." I said falling backwards onto my feathery bed. I stared at the stone cieling.
"But don't you want to get married? Then one day you'll be queen!" Saphire had a glint of imagination in her eyes.
"But I don't WANT to get married... I'm only 15!" I replied angrily.
Yeah... an arranged marriage... just my luck. I haven't even SEEN him... and of course it's Sintickis tradition to go to the King's house for 1 year before returning to Sintickis... that is if I were a girl of course. And I am... and I don't want to leave either.
"Well now I'm suppose to think that you are going to make some kind of absurd scheme to get out of Daddy's castle?" Saphire asked.
"I'll think of a way... you'll see." I assured her. "Some way..."
I stared out the window again. I heard a "CLOP, CLOP, CLOP!". It was a messanger... Oh great! I plopped back down onto my bed and started crying. I knew what the message said. It was when the wedding day would be arranged. I just laid there for 10 minutes. Staring into space.
The door opened. "Oh my dearest daughter Cynthia!" He announced with glee. "Your wedding will be in 3 days! Thank the Almighty!" He ran out the door cheering and hooting.
Yup... that was my father. The king. King Hittis. I started breaking down in a fit of tears. I couldn't bare just staying here! I needed to go... far away. Until everything was over... yes, until all my worries were gone.

Gollem Knight part 1
"Get in your positions people!" The man heavily covered in armor said. I stood up straight, leaning my sword against my shoulder. "Now you specific group of trained warriors are going out into the land to stop what has been prophisized. Your mission, slaughter anyone you see in your path. Make sure no one gets to Sintickis. Understood?"
"Anoy!" We all replied. That was our response for "yes". I looked around at all the warriors lined up beside me. I guess you could call me more of a sensitive person. Except towards birds. Yup they called me "Bird Killer" because I had killed the most Phoenixes than anyone else. That was a very prideful name for me. I was born and raised here in Gollem, but I don't think I agree with the Gollem ways. Why was I here you ask? Well I wanted adventure, excitement. I've already gotten this far. Endurence had taken me all this way. I wasn't gonna give up so soon.
"Now! Forward! MARCH!" The leader started marching out of the gates of Gollem.
We all marched towards the horse's pens. My loyal steed... I almost jumped out of formation to see my horse, but I knew that would only lead to trouble. Everyone got to their horses, ready to mount them. Of course all the horses were black, so they would be harder to see at night, but I didn't care because Chip was a good horse. Maybe my only friend in a world of... unpleasentness. I walked up to Chip eagerly.
"NAAAAY!" Chip roared flailing his hoofes in the air.
"Chip! Chip! It's only me!" I said in a calm voice lifting the front of my armored helmet. Immediatly Chip calmed down, almost purring even. "Yeah! Just me..." I said rubbing his face.
I let him out, I put his saddle on and rode off spreading out from the other knights. It was a Gollem sign of intimidation to take your sword out of your scabbard while riding, so that's what I had to do too... not really my thing. I remembered I almost cut my thumb off during one of my practice rides. I could see mountains in the far off distance. I decided to head off towards Sintickis itself. I mean why not if that's where the Chosen One was heading?
